In one of the seaside cities, our studio developed a design - a concept for the reconstruction of an existing local restaurant with a total area of350 m2. The concept was based on the idea to createCity cafe in the city center with affordable prices, a cozy atmosphere and a variety of villagesherbs for any taste. The restaurant is located next to the city park and the business center, within walking distance of the central stadium, surrounded by residential and sleeping areas. Therefore, it was very important to provide a large and diverse site with different scenarios on130 places
One of the main tasks was to make a modern and bright design with functional zoning of the room. Thus, four zones were created: the main hall with large windows, a two-sided bar counter, a different seating area with comfortable sofas and a round table for a large company. The second, inner room, is a continuation of the main one and is also suitable for holding events or a nice dinner. In the warm season, guests of the restaurant can relax on the summer terrace under the open sky. Also there is a separate room with an open-air barbecue.
An important factor was the preservation of the existing structure and communication. So we left the paving tiles on the floor in one room and a wooden board in another. And seascapes inspired us to use changing blue tones in combination with gray stone tones, complementing the composition with bright green and terracotta accents.
