The apartment in the building of 1915 was given to the owner by her father, so she wanted to see an aristocratic, but at the same time quite modern interior, because the apartment is intended for rent.
To enlarge the living room, we took down the wall that separated the living room from the hall. Instead, between the hall and the living room, a decorative rack with an oriental pattern, made to order according to the interior designer's sketches, is installed. The rack is weightless and is perfect for lighting the hall.
In the kitchen, the doorway was widened and sliding doors with stained-glass windows were installed to let more light into the hall. In the center is a tile carpet with an ornament from a Spanish manufacturerPeronda. Dining chair and chairs - vintage, brought from France.
In the living room - an ensemble of upholstered furniture of Ukrainian manufacturers and coffee tables of Dutch manufacturersZuiver andDutchbone. It was also possible to restore the bay window with access to the inner green yard by strengthening the columns with a foundation.
The apartment originally had a parquet floor, which has been perfectly preserved over time. Part of the parquet in the living room still had to be dismantled in connection with the renovation, but the old parquet was completely restored in the bedroom.
Designer wallpaper with a beautiful pattern from a Swiss manufacturer is used on the walls of the bathroomBorastapeter from the collectionNOCTURNE, covered with water-repellent varnish. A vintage mirror with a bevel and a painting was perfect for them. There is a marble mosaic on the floor.
